AIDS Walk LA: Project Management Tool
What kind of tool could help event organizers manage their personnel and stay current on budget projections whether in the field or in the office?
The solution was a web application that permitted visual staff scheduling by event, generated a cost projection report, and compared costs and budgets across multiple events and campaigns.
I gained a lot of knowledge from this project. Primarily, I began developing a process for balancing features and complexity in enterprise-level software. I also had my first experience presenting and explaining my design work in front of a large group, and my first experience working as a designer for a client.
