How can I create an engaging editorial magazine spread using only type?
Because my chosen article was about hackers, I wanted to create a conceptual design that harkened to computers and the hidden underworld of the internet. I chose to accomplish that through layering, the use of binary code as a textural element, and by deliberately obscuring portions of the design.
This project reflects my first experiences working closely with typography and appreciating typeforms as visual elements in and of themselves.
